The Caputh car ferry or cable ferry is always worth a detour. For 50 cents you can get across easily. The ferry runs as needed, and when it is very busy it runs back and forth without stopping. There are several restaurants and snack bars at the pier. When the weather is nice it is quite full.

Since 1998, the ferry vehicle Tussy II has operated the Caputh ferry, which has been in operation at the Caputher Gemünde since 1853.
Caputher Gemünde is the name given to a section of the Potsdam Havel between the towns of Caputh and Geltow, which are now districts of the Brandenburg municipality of Schwielowsee.
The Havel flows through numerous lakes along its course and repeatedly forms bays.
This is particularly true on the section between Berlin and Brandenburg an der Havel.
