From 1646 to 1653, the estate was owned by Georg (other sources cite the name Jerzy) von Puttkamer. In 1653, he and his six children perished in a shipwreck while crossing from Sweden to Pomerania. Georg's wife survived the shipwreck and later married her rescuer, Swedish captain Simon (Szymon) von Pirch. In 1699, Simon received Niepoględzie as a fief from the Elector of Brandenburg. The next heir to the estate was his son Gneomar von Pirch. In 1773, the estate returned to the von Zitzewitz family. In 1883, Adolf von Zitzewitz and his wife Mathilde née von Sprenger bequeathed the estate to Jesco von Puttkamer, the younger son of Eugen von Puttkamer of Główczyce. In 1918, Otto von Puttkamer inherited the estate upon the death of his father. From 1927, the estate was managed by Jesco von Puttkamer.
