On a plateau, surrounded by majestic beech trees, is the Casetta di Buite.
The classic environment told in fairy tales.
Here, however, there were no gnomes, fairies.
It was built to shelter the woodcutters, the charcoal burners, the shepherds who had their working habitat in this area of the Pratomagno.
It had not been used for several decades now, so it had faced inevitable deterioration.
On the initiative of the Raggiolo Brigade, the local pro loco, in 2014 it was restored and transformed into a refuge for trekking lovers.
