This monastery, formerly located in the center of Constantina, was moved to the La Carlina estate, the point where it is today. In the 1950s, this property belonged to Léon Degrelle, a Belgian politician who collaborated with the Nazi regime during World War II and fled to the south of Spain to avoid punishment. In 1952 the construction of this Arab-style palace house began, to which annex buildings were later added.

Currently, the Hieronymite nuns who live in the monastery offer hospitality services. You can also visit the craft store where they sell sweets, soaps, liquors, etc.
