      As of 2021, the parking lot costs 150 NOK for 24 hours. Ideal for an overnight stay in a motorhome. Shuttle bus to the cable car costs 50 NOK.

          Beware. This parking lot will cost you an arm and a leg! We were there at 8:30…. Parking until 12:00 was 300 crowns, and after 12:00 another 300. No middle ground, no way to pay for the time you are actually there. Paid 600, but I am really pissed off. What a dirty rip-off!

            Good parking lot with a well signposted way to the summit ... very expensive ... 150 NK ... many Norwegians therefore park along the road in various "parking bays" ... you can do it ... the way via Stavsro is a little longer, but does not immediately rise as steeply as e.g. the path at the parking lot of the Gaustabanen, but this is useful if you plan to take the train down ...
