Sent is a picturesque village in the Lower Engadine, known for its splendid architecture and scenic location. Perched on a sunny terrace, it offers magnificent views of the Inn Valley. Its historic center is a true marvel, with typical Engadine houses decorated with elaborate sgraffito.

Sent's most famous offspring have achieved worldwide fame, yet all have returned sooner or later. The village chronicle and architecture speak volumes about the era of emigration. To this day, the once largest village in the Lower Engadin remains a prime example of Romansh culture.
