In the basement there was originally the "shopping center" with bread and meat bank and other shops, while the sovereign exercised high jurisdiction on the upper floor, the city council met and festivities were held. Since 2004, all facades have been shining in the same color as they were when it was built. The main facade with a polygonal, hall-high bay window above a neo-Gothic portal is impressive.
