Chioggia, also called "Little Venice," is a city located south of the lagoon. You can take a walk in the middle of the narrow streets and markets. At the end of the Corso, where the vaporettos leave for the islands, there is a beautiful view over the lagoon.

Vigo Column
The Vigo Column, located in the square of the same name, is one of the most representative architectural elements of the city of Chioggia.
Its location dates back to 1786, at the behest of Podestà Giulio Antonio Mussato.
It was created from the collection of artifacts found during excavations in 1763 at the site of the former Praetorian Palace.
