Battle of Frankopolem and Skrzeszew - a battle between the Polish Volunteer Cavalry Brigade and units of several rifle divisions of the Bolshevik 16th Army, fought on August 19, 1920 in the area of the crossing on the Bug River in Frankopol, during the Battle of Warsaw.

During the pursuit activities following the success of the Polish counteroffensive on the Wieprz River, the Volunteer Cavalry Brigade was directed to the Bug River with the task of cutting off the Bolshevik 16 Army's retreat path. In the area of Frankopol and Skrzeszew, Polish cavalrymen engaged in a fight with the overwhelming forces of the enemy. The fights were very fierce, some positions changed hands several times. Ultimately, the 16th Army was forced to change the direction of its retreat, which consequently led to its disintegration in the Battle of Bialystok.
