Beinn Damh is a classic Torridonian massif, thrust up on buttresses of tiered sandstone with a rugged quartzite summit. A traverse of its ridge is characterised by the muscular architecture of its flanks and huge views across Loch Torridon to the likes of Beinn Alligin and Liathach.

The way up to the saddle can be quite boggy and will need care on the way up and down. The saddle itself is grassy and most of the ridge grassy or bouldery. So good walking in almost any weather and more time to enjoy the lovely views.
