While cycling our new Expedition Alay route, we decided to stay at Guesthouse Ak-Bata, which is owned and operated by a nice family. It's a fantastic place to clean and rest up after your adventurous crossing from Uch-Korgon or the Alay Valley.
The price is 1200 som ($15) p.p per night, including dinner and breakfast. You can ask them for vegetarian food. Bikes can be stored in the hallway. There's hot water and comfy beds, wifi, as well as the option to do a hand wash and dry your clothes on a rack. If you stay in room 8 you have a private shower for the same room price.
