Sajama is an indigenous community on the Bolivian Altiplano at 4,300 meters above sea level. The population is distributed throughout the great plain in small cattle villages, but most of it is dedicated to tourist services in the town of Sajama, attending shops, restaurants, hostels or working as drivers for tourist excursions or trekking and high mountain guides. In Sajama I parked the bike for a few days to climb six thousand meter peaks, a resounding change in the style of the trip that I will tell about in the next stage.
