with 652 m above sea level the pass is somewhat humane, but at least the waterways divide here, to the Black Sea or to the Elbe therefore an interesting hill.
For road cyclists, the highway is well suited, I think. Good road conditions and low traffic, because side street, connection in the Upper Palatinate or direction Fichtelgebirge both very beautiful regions for exploring🚵♂️🚵♀️ and experiencing 🚴♀️🚴🏽

The European main watershed runs between the Black Sea and the North Sea through the Wurmloh Pass from east to west. The streams south of the apex flow via Gregnitz, Naab and Danube to the Black Sea, the streams north via Röslau, Eger and Elbe to the North Sea.
