The Tangerhütter Stadtpark was created in 1873 by the manufacturer Wagenführ. The result was an idyllic park with special features such as the lidded vase, the mausoleum and the artificial waterfall. Magnificent welcomes you from the New Castle. Agaventore southwest and southeast of the castle still emphasize the entrance and transition area between formal forecourt and landscaped park. A gem of the complex is the art-cast pavilion, which was awarded a gold medal at the Paris World's Fair in 1889.
