The Tangerhütter Stadtpark was created in 1873 by the manufacturer Wagenführ. The result was an idyllic park with special features such as the lidded vase, the mausoleum and the artificial waterfall. The great importance of the hut led in 1928 to the renaming of the place Vaethen in Tangerhütte.
