At around 1,111 kilometers, the Tour Brandenburg is the longest long-distance cycle route in Germany. It combines several long-distance cycle paths with regional cycle paths and takes you through towns and villages, a wide variety of landscapes, biosphere reserves, a renatured military training area, recultivated opencast mining landscapes, nature reserves and a national park. Although the route “officially” begins in Brandenburg an der Havel, thanks to numerous train connections, you can start at many points. The Tour Brandenburg is therefore also ideal for day or weekend tours.

Of course, the Tour Brandenburg mainly runs in the state of Brandenburg. At Klein Partwitz and Geierswalde you drive a bit through Saxony, and at Boßdorf and Havelberg it goes through Saxony-Anhalt for a few kilometers.
