The design of the natural theater in the classic sense with a semicircular, sunken auditorium and a raised, slightly sloping stage began as early as 1761. On either side of the proscenium were passageways of wooden latticework with portal architecture. These were destroyed in 1843 by a falling elm and were not rebuilt. Only recently have trees been planted in their place to convey the spatial effect again.

Note the admirable details that were created purely by hand and without CAD in the 18th century, such as the parquet.

The 5 combined local types of wood are still skillfully laid seamlessly today. The dark inserts, for example, are bog oak and may only be walked on with felt overshoes to protect the surface.

The bathhouse is currently open again after being closed for almost 2 years and should definitely be planned as an intermediate destination during a visit.
