Bok, editor of the magazine The Ladies Home Journal, along with the surrounding gardens as a bird sanctuary on Floridas highest point to protect the land from being developed. Today, Bok Tower Gardens is a popular spot for recreation and to visit the museum and the beautiful vegetation.
