        San Fermo Maggiore with the Romanesque lower church and really impressive frescoes (no one should miss this, one of my personal highlights in Verona) and the "modern" Franciscan upper church is definitely worth a visit!!!

          There is a Romanesque lower church with impressively beautiful frescoes and an upper church that has been expanded several times and whose wooden ceiling features depictions of saints.
          For me, along with the Basilica of San Zeno, this is one of the churches in Verona that I highly recommend visiting.

                  Definitely worth a visit, costs 3 or 4 euros, but it's worth it. There are two churches there, one below and one above. We've never seen anything like it. It's gigantic and beautiful.👍👍
