The village fountain is located on the fountain square on the corner of Hauptstrasse and Zehntstrasse in Briedel. Three arches sit on the edge of the basin and are brought together in the middle at the top. They end in a crown. The arches are decorated with motifs from the local history. The fountain was built in 1984. It is made of basalt stone from the region.

The fountain stands there a little lost. We did not get the impression that this square with the really pretty houses around it was accepted as the town centre
