This theater is conceived as an "Italian theater" with Neoclassical decoration. On the outside, it was not conceived as an emblematic building for the city, but was given the distinct character of a private civil building perfectly integrated into the square and the surrounding historic buildings. The exterior sobriety contrasts with the interior ornamental richness.
