This bridge connects the communities Kneese and Kittlitz. It was built in 1993 and there the two communities celebrate reunification on 3 October.
"The border with Schleswig-Holstein's neighboring municipality of Kittlitz is a small stream that has been crossed by a modern bridge since 1993, which is wonderfully integrated into the Schaalsee landscape, which was jointly enforced by the two communities of Kneese and Kittlitz against opposition from various authorities and today is the expression of the connectedness of both neighboring communities.

During the German-German division of the border, it was hardly possible to get any closer than in Rosenhagen, a district of the municipality of Kittlitz. The Goldenseebach marks the border between Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Today it is easy to drive over the bridge to neighboring Dutzow or Kneese. Thirty years ago it was an impossible undertaking, one of the most normal things in the world for anyone born after 1989.
