The POLDER HOUSE, located behind the Lekdijk, is built on an almost rectangular plan and mainly has two floors under a composite roof. The roof covering consists of braised Tuile du Nord tiles. The windows have round, basket and segmental relief arches with sandstone heads and keystones. The windows on the first floor have red-white painted shutters in a green frame. The asymmetrical facade is divided into three parts. The slightly protruding left building part consists of a stepped gable with two floors under a gable roof with the ridge direction perpendicular to the road. The facade has a stepped gable end with a shield-bearing lion with the coat of arms of the province of Utrecht as a crowning achievement. The facade contains two cross-framed windows on the first floor. The second floor contains three linked windows with skylights, separated by wall dams. Beneath it, the saying 'Vivo leo cespite tutus' is carved in bluestone, with the dates '1675' and '1903' on either side. The gable has a bell-shaped savings field with a cross frame under a round arch. The gable facade has also been enlivened with decorative anchors. The middle building part is a longitudinal facade of two floors high and two window axes wide. On the left there is an extended round-arched porch on the ground floor. This contains the main entrance, consisting of a wooden door with sidelights and a round-arched skylight. To the right of it, the longitudinal facade contains a cross window. Above the portico is a bluestone balustrade with spherical corner crowns. The facade has on-site balcony doors with skylights and a cross frame on the right. The rightmost building part is a longitudinal facade of two window axes, each with a cross frame; only one storey high at the front. The roof surface is broken by two dormer windows under hipped roofs. The left side wall contains a door and a number of cross frames. In the right side wall there are two cross frames placed one above the other. At right angles to the main volume, a single-storey building section under a gable roof has been placed against the rear facade. A stone shed under a gable roof has been placed against this building section on the northwest side.
