The Arco del Portillo, also known as the Arco de San Francisco or Portillo del Corbache, is a historic city gate in Córdoba. The gate was built at the end of the 14th century and is located on the eastern wall that separated the Villa and the Axerquía. The gate is located in Calle San Fernando, near the Iglesia de San Francisco. The gate has a simple but functional construction with a high wooden arch that allowed traffic between the old city and the suburbs. It is an important historical monument that provides a glimpse into the military architecture of the time.

The Portillo Arch, also called the San Francisco Arch or Corbache Port, is a passageway opened in the eastern part of the wall at the end of the 14th century. It is located on San Fernando street, in front of the church of San Francisco. It unites the Catedral neighborhood, belonging to the old Medina, and the San Francisco-Ribera neighborhood, in the old Axerquía. The Portillo Arch was built in 1496 in the shape of a pointed horseshoe arch with simple decoration, on an ashlar wall, in a house acquired by the Córdoba City Council from Fernando Sánchez Torquemada. The objective of this new access was to facilitate the transit of residents between the upper part of the city (Medina) and the lower part (Axerquía), since it is currently the only remaining access between these two neighborhoods of Córdoba. Other entrances such as the Bailío Gate, the Puerta del Hierro and the Luján Gate have not been preserved.

It was renovated in 1703 by widening its lower part, mainly the jambs, to allow the passage of carriages. It was also called Portillo de los Mercaderes due to the many merchants who were stationed nearby, since San Fernando Street was a large commercial area.
