The parish church of San Martino dates from the 14th century and has been modified several times over the following centuries, most recently in 1860. Traces of the original structure can be found in the chapel, which houses the baptistery. The church, consecrated in 1583, houses a series of paintings financed by donations from emigrants from Sueglia (mainly to Veneto and Piedmont); among the works are a Madonna del Carmine (1659) and a Madonna del Rosario (1627). The wooden altarpiece dates from 1660 while the pulpit dates from 1687; both works were carved by Fantoni. The bell tower was built between 1697 and 1705 and two years later an astronomical clock was added.
The church is below the village of Sueglio. From here you can hike down very nicely to Dervio.
