    The Queichtal cycle path leads over almost 60 km through the southern Palatinate from Hauenstein to Germersheim. The cycle path starts in the Palatinate Forest, crosses the German Wine Route and ends here on the Rhine.

                    If you're not afraid of the approximately 180-meter elevation gain to the Queich source, you can also start a fantastic 110-km tour here: Follow the Queich Cycle Path to the source near Hauenstein, continue on a beautiful forest path to Hinterweidenthal, and then take the German-French Pamina Lautertal Cycle Path along the Wieslauter to Wissembourg. From here, take the train (with a change of trains) back to Germersheim. I've included a "starting photo" for the Queich Cycle Path.
