Thanks to the efforts of the St. Aldegund community and volunteer fire department, Heinrich Raulwing Square has been transformed into a festival site with a barbecue hut, a cooking hut, restrooms, a small stage, numerous benches and tables, and a large parking lot accessible via a gravel road. In addition to the rest area, the square offers a magnificent view of St. Aldegund and the Moselle River.

A forest recreation area above St. Aldegund with a grill hut, playground, festival hut, toilet facility, parking lot and hiking trails.
The "Heinrich-Raulwing" -Platz is one of the most beautiful forest recreation areas on the Moselle, created 1970-72 and named after the honorary citizen Heinrich Raulwing who was significantly involved in the development of the place in the late 1960s.
