At the beginning of the 19th century, the castle area underwent early classicist modifications, during which this terraced park was also created. It got its name from the hornbeam fences that demarcate it.
However, without the necessary care, the garden gradually fell into disrepair during the second half of the 20th century. In 2005, it was revitalized on the basis of historical sources, and today you can enjoy its old appearance, which it had at the beginning of the 19th century.
