At this weir, the trough is dammed to obviously operate a small power plant to generate electricity. A fish ladder was also created.

There's a small seating area nearby, perfect for a picnic. Unfortunately, you'll have to take a small detour and climb a few meters on your bike, as you can't cycle directly along the hydroelectric power station. However, it's no problem to walk.

If you follow the single trail on the Mulde, you will reach this point on the route. A nice place to stay.

At the moment, the path after the hydropower station in the direction of Höllental is difficult or impossible to drive on by bike - forest work, tree felling work. Paths are broken by heavy technology. The path directly opposite the power plant no longer has a blue railing. Dangerous to walk through with children and by bike. Very small. Coming from Rochsburg there are no indications where the wide path is for bikers and that tree felling work is being carried out!

The path used to lead directly along the hydroelectric power station. But after a flood, the bank edge broke off and was closed. An alternative path leads generously around the spot (steep mountain with loose stones)
