The oldest church in Logrono with a very delicately designed entrance portal. The interior is rather simple and made of raw stone, but for once it looks all the more beautiful and therefore soothing.

The Church of San Bartolomé (Spanish Iglesia de San Bartolomé) is the oldest church in Logroño, Spain. Its construction dates from the 12th century, so it partially preserves the Romanesque style in the head and the first part of the tower, and continued in the 13th century with the Gothic development, with the magnificent arched portal, which contains some Romanesque sculptures that tell the life of Saint Bartholomew and other biblical passages.

It has been a listed building since 1866. The Church of San Bartholomé is considered landmark No. 9 on the Way of Saint James, a World Heritage Site. It is 612 km from Santiago de Compostela.

The main altar, which dates back to the first third of the 18th century, is noteworthy.
There is an important collection of paintings hanging on the walls of the church and in the sacristy. Among them, the depiction of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, which is located in the presbytery, stands out.
