The museum provides very good information about the Indian and French wars in the region of present-day Pittsburgh in the 18th century. It is worth noting that the historical events are also told from the perspective of the indigenous people. In addition to historical exhibits, history is conveyed very vividly through life-size figures in historical costumes, dioramas and films. The entrance fee is moderate at $10 per person, and is offset against the entrance fee for a visit to the Heinz History Center.
