The Löwenkopf Bridge is a bridge over the Berlin-Hamburg railway near Streesow (municipality Karstädt, Prignitz). The bridge, built in 1846 and protected since 1982 from the early days of railways, is one of the oldest bridges over railway lines, possibly even as the oldest preserved bridge over railway lines in Germany.

The Lion's Head Bridge was dismantled in 1992 and rebuilt in 1993 (it's a listed building).
This is evident from the approximately 1 meter of concrete in the lower section.
It was necessary because the clearance height was insufficient due to electrification in the 1980s, and the track was lowered, often flooding during rain. It was my construction site in 1993. It's a great place to visit!
