There is a three-kilometer walk along the shore of the lake, as different as it can be. At the Steinacherbucht there is the unmistakable avenue of chestnut trees, from where, depending on the season, water birds can be observed that temporarily stop or breed here. Beautiful parks with a children's playground, music pavilion and flower beds lead the visitor to the port facilities. Further west, past the modern swimming pool and Seeparksaal, there are free bathing opportunities, picnic areas and finally an extensive nature reserve. Many native bird species can be observed here from the wooden footbridge built on Philosophenweg in 2005, especially in the early hours of the morning. The romantic promenade continues to the lido. The view from the restaurant terrace over the lake is unique. And those sunsets!
