Of course, the Hochtor of Heiligenblut is a "must" for every pass collector. Well-developed route, magnificent views of the Grossglockner massif - wonderful!

At 2,504 meters, the Hochtor marks the highest point of the Großglockner High Alpine Road. In summer, countless hikers, cyclists and drivers come here to enjoy the magnificent view. The state border between Salzburg and Carinthia lies in the middle of the Hochtor Tunnel. On the south side of the Hochtor you can visit an interesting exhibition: For thousands of years, the Glockner crossing has been the shortest trade route between north and south. There is also a souvenir shop and a catering area next to it.

Once up here, you've made it. The highest point on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road at over 2500m. A tunnel passage awaits you here. Upstairs there are toilets, a small shop and of course the perfect view!
