First of all: I love (!!) the Benedictine market in Klagenfurt. It doesn't matter whether you are an ambitious cyclist or a relaxed hiker through the old town - this market is THE Eldorado for pleasure strollers!

Representative for the many great corners of enjoyment are mentioned here:

From classic orange or carrot juice to spicy ginger shots: the best juices - freshly squeezed (no press! But with the gentler method of a juice centrifuge!) - are available at the Ferra family's fruit stand - Oliver's juice shop 🥤 🍊

Christian Cabalier and his team shine with fresh Carinthian-Mediterranean delicacies. Extra points and worth mentioning today - the apricot curd dumpling. Every journey is worthwhile for this! 😅✌️

Those who prefer something heartier are well served with a Käsekrainer (with freshly grated horseradish!) at the sausage stand at Gudrun's snack bar. The brave take a cover with sauerkraut. The best in town!

Every Thursday and Saturday from 6.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. is a big market day. Organic market at the same time on Fridays. You can also stroll through the two halls of the Benedictine market from Monday to Friday from 6.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Wednesday until 1.45 p.m.) and taste the gastronomic delicacies.

There will be chilled DJ sound and live music on the market square on six Fridays until September 9th - under the motto "After Work Market".
