a monument in honor of Polish foresters fighting against the German Nazi occupiers, located in the village of Szarlota in the Kościerzyna commune.

The building is located on the local forest road from Kościerzyna to Lizaki, on the south-eastern shore of Lake Osuszyno [1]. It commemorates Polish foresters who fought against the Nazi occupiers during World War II (1939–1945). It consists of five erratic boulders located on a low plinth in two groups (two and three). These groups are separated by the central cross. On the pedestal there is the inscription `` Nations lose their lives by losing their memory. There are also plaques with the names of the fallen and murdered foresters. The whole is accompanied by a relief of an eagle with oak leaves [2]. The monument was unveiled in 1971 [
