La Ermita is located in a privileged place for its incredible views of the picturesque town of Bocairent. To get there from the town, you go up the steps that are at the same time the Via Crucis. From every corner the views are more and more beautiful until reaching the panoramic point where the Hermitage is located. From here you can also see the caves of the Moors, another of Bocairent's main attractions.

The Hermitage of the Holy Christ of Bocairent is one of the most emblematic and spiritual places in the municipality, both for its history and its privileged location.
Built in the 16th century, the hermitage is located atop a mountain north of the town. According to local legend, travelers—believed to be angels sent by God—indicated the exact spot where the cult building was to be built. Before this revelation, locals had seen three mysterious lights symbolizing the three crosses of Mount Calvary.

Religious site with incredible views of the picturesque town of Bocairent. To get to the town it is recommended to go walking and not rolling since there are times that the authorities can cause a problem by not being allowed to roll down from the hermitage. It is also worth making the descent walking to appreciate the views of the town and the caves in the rock!
