The Treppengranary in Lutterloh is a restored historic building with a thatched roof and typical exterior staircase, now used as an exhibition and experience space. Inside is the multimedia exhibition "Feathered Creatures," designed by birdwatcher Mano Rathgeber. On a large monitor, visitors can watch short video clips introducing the bird species of the Southern Heath with striking images, bird calls, and commentary. The focus is less on dry facts and more on an atmospheric nature experience that inspires the desire to observe for themselves.
