The rich birdlife is one of the great attractions of Skjern Ådal, offering many opportunities for birdwatching along the water. Bird watchers and observation hides have been set up at seven locations in the area, which are worth a visit even if you're not particularly interested in birds but just want to enjoy the view.
The two most popular bird watchers are located east of Lønborggård and at the parking lot at Skjernåvej. The observation hide at Lønborggård offers views of the old bishop's residence to the west and Lønborg Church to the east.
