It is a neo-Romanesque building with modernist elements built between 1895 and 1914, it is a center of worship and pilgrimage, it was the first in the world dedicated to St. Joseph. It is currently a reception center for minors at risk of social exclusion. It consists of a unified set of buildings for use in its masonry facing, except for the framing of the openings and corners, made of carved stone. Three bodies are defined, the convent-asylum, the church in the center and the house of the novices. The three, adjacent to each other, are presented as an isolated ensemble, with the main façade facing south.

The complex consists of several buildings unified by masonry walls, except for the door and window frames and the corners, which are made of cut stone. It is composed of three main sections: the convent-asylum, the church in the center, and the novices’ house. These adjacent structures form a cohesive, isolated ensemble with a main south-facing façade, featuring three independent entrance portals leading to an elevated platform accessed via a double staircase from the congregational esplanade.
