You don't walk this path to arrive somewhere. You walk it because it's there – slightly carved into the ground, almost as if forgotten, a shady path with a tendency toward silence. The Grunewald forest knows how to create paths that are more than connections: small trials with a view.

And then these stairs. No significant building, no landmark with a sign or QR code. Just a few old, mossy steps rising from the ground in the half-shadow like a memory of something never said. Whoever climbs them also steps a little out of the world.

The trees hold their breath. Light falls in patches on the leaves, the bark, the path – as if the forest had its own language of shadows and greenery. Down below, it smells of earth and wood. Up above, it's brighter.

Perhaps these stairs lead nowhere. But perhaps they lead exactly to where you need to go, to briefly reconnect with yourself. Between two breaths. Between two thoughts.
