According to Komoot this is the summit of Arjuna. In fact the peak is some meters further but I could not get there as it was too late already and I was tired and wanted to return timely. Plan to reach the peak from this point in about 10-15 min from here.

What are the most popular trekking routes to Mount Arjuno summit?

Mount Arjuno offers several established trekking routes. The most common starting points are from Tretes (Pasuruan), Lawang (Malang), and Batu. The Tretes route is often favored for its accessibility, while the Lawang route can be more challenging. Many hikers also undertake the traverse of the entire Arjuno-Welirang range, which is considered one of Java's finest multi-day hikes.

How difficult is the climb to Mount Arjuno summit, and what kind of terrain can I expect?

The climb to Mount Arjuno summit is considered challenging and requires good physical preparation. The terrain varies significantly, transitioning from mossy forests at lower elevations to areas with volcanic craters, steaming vents, and eventually a summit that lacks significant vegetation. Hikers should be prepared for steep ascents, rocky paths, and potentially slippery conditions, especially during the wet season.

What is the typical duration for a Mount Arjuno summit hike?

A typical summit hike to Mount Arjuno often requires one to two nights of camping, especially if you plan to traverse the entire Arjuno-Welirang range.
