The water tower was built in 1904-05 as a water reservoir for the southern districts of Wroclaw. The solid construction was designed in the style of a medieval castle.
Different styles such as neo-romantic, neo-gothic and art nouveau are mixed together, giving the tower its interesting and eye-catching character.
From the beginning, the tower had the viewing platform and was equipped with an electric elevator, with which one could see the wider area of Wroclaw at a lofty height for 10 pfennigs.
The tower survived World War II unscathed.
The tower has been private since 1995 and houses a restaurant and conference hall.
The elevator can be used.

The former water tower with viewing platform was a gem at the time of its completion. He supplied the southern Breslau with water. Back then, the platform was already accessible by elevator.
It was only bought privately in the 1990s, renovated and equipped with a restaurant.
