Past the train station, past the ferry terminal, there is a wonderful observation tower at the pier, from which one has a wonderful view and panoramic view of the entire port area. This observation tower is free and must be visited, it is worth it.

In order to get a nice view of the Wadden Sea with the islands and Halligen, there is a striking yellow and blue viewing platform behind the mobile dock 3. When the weather is good, you can see far across the North Sea from the top – and in the other direction to the marshland. An absolute must!
