Because of its historical, artistic and urban significance, the old fortified church has been designated as a cultural monument.

It is open and can be visited daily.

The St. Johannes Church in Ulfen was built in the second half of the 14th century.
Like many churches in the region, it initially served as a fortified church. The altar and the ceiling paintings are worth seeing. The tower clock still has to be wound up every day and is a jewel of the church (if you can visit the tower).
