Wonderfully relaxed cycling along the canal, it's always straight ahead. The route is also popular with racing cyclists. Asphalt is built between Marckolsheim and Strasbourg, from Neuf-Brisach to Marckolsheim good, fine gravel.

Beautiful cycle path on the Rhine-Rhone Canal.
Even though it always goes almost straight, it is a relaxed route with many old locks.

One of many dreamlike and beautiful avenues along the Rhine-Rhône Canal. Here is another picture, or highlight (there are already many because it is incredibly clear).
My tip: take a small picnic with you and enjoy it by the water. Included as a "must have": a small Styrofoam pad to sit on and AntiBrumm or Autan so that the mosquitoes don't eat YOU.
