A beautiful footbridge over the Nidda, very close to the Vilbeler mineral springs. It connects the two banks of one of the most popular rivers for day trippers in the Rhine-Main area.

The Römerbrunnen is located in Bad Vilbel, Hesse and was drilled in the years 1929-1930 by the Vilbeler carbonic acid works. The entire source plant, now owned by Hassia Mineral Springs, was completely renovated in 2007.
In 1955, the occurrence was first recognized as a curative state and subsequently applied in spa treatments in Bad Vilbeler Kurhaus. Today, the source bears the name "Roman Fountain" and is also available under this name as Heilwasserabfüllung in bottles.
