Tilden Nature Area orientation display and paper trail maps are at the gate. The wide Loop Road continues along the contours as a nice gradual dirt and gravel track, under tall pine and eucalyptus trees. A drinking water fountain is 200 yards further along on the west side of Loop Rd.
