In the heart of nature, come and discover the cutlery past of Thiers along the Durolle. Two routes along the Durolle total 3 kilometers and allow visitors to follow in the footsteps of the grinders, these craftsmen working lying on a board above their grinding wheel and giving the edge to the blade. Their workshops or spinning wheels (grinding mills) were gradually deserted from the 1930s. Today, the site offers the image of a wild nature marked by the patience and tenacity of generations of cutlers.
