The forest restaurant Zum Schillerstein above Blaubeuren, near the Schillerstein, is a popular destination. If you're on this side Blaubeuren's worth a visit in any case.
It offers Swabian dishes, snacks, salad and cake. In addition, self-baked bread and Hefezopf are sold. So also a good opportunity to take something for the way.
For children there is a small playground and in the meadows around the restaurant sheep, goats and donkeys graze.
Opening hours:
Wednesday - Saturday: 11:00 - 21:00
Sunday: 10:00 - 21:00
Monday, Tuesday: closed
