Rechenberg-Holzhau is a small town on the Erzgebirge crest. We stayed in this beautiful hotel, which has an extra storage room for our bikes. We were able to dry our soaked clothes in the boiler room without a murmur.

The food was really good! There was also Rumpelbräu, which is brewed locally, and Rechenberger. This is also very tasty and comes from the neighboring town of Rechenberg-Bienenmühle. There is also a brewery museum there, which should be worth a visit...

Nice, rustic restaurant with very good home cooking. The good kitchen is always worth a visit and there is also the delicious Rumpelbräu from Holzhau, which you absolutely have to try😁👍🍻
